It was a great pleasure for Warminster Bonsai Club to run a bonsai and penjing workshop for Tisbury Memory Group yesterday.
Everyone made their own penjing and came up with their own designs using the rocks, moss, gravel and decorations that were provided as part of the workshop.
It was a very fun morning with lots of activity, ​chatter, laughter and a fantastic atmosphere. They are a very engaging and sociable group and provided refreshments, including homemade cakes and meringues, and they held an Easter raffle too.
The enthusiasm of the group was brilliant, and they were keen to learn how to repot a starter bonsai and how to prepare the bonsai pot in preparation for planting as well as look after their new bonsai landscape creations.
