Warminster Bonsai Club

Saturday 2nd September we set up our club display at the Corsley Fayre which is the second year we have attended after it was stopped due to covid.

Restarting this has meant it is smaller than pre covid but we have noticed it is gaining popularity and was well attended no doubt helped by the fine weather.

We were in the horticultural marquee sharing a side with Derek who had his stand for the Wiltshire section of the Cacti and Succulent Society which complements both displays unfortunately only have one picture of Derek’s stand.

Lots of interest shown many questions asked and a very enjoyable day as it is also our last display for this year.

Saturday 2nd September we will be putting on a club display at the Corsley Fayre in the horticulture marquee, we put on a display last year and found it to be a very friendly show with many local people attending.

The Wiltshire branch of the Cacti and Succulent Society will also have a display and sales table.

Due to the weather warning for Saturday the organisers have cancelled the above event.

This Saturday 15th July we will be putting on a club Bonsai display if you are attending the show come along and say hello, on Sunday we will not be there but Derek will be putting on a display of Cacti and Succulents to promote the Wiltshire Society.

Busy meeting as usual we held the selection of member’s trees for the Blackmore Vale Bonsai Group show which is on the 25th of this month at the New Remembrance Hall, Charlton SP7 0PL 11.00-15.00.
