Our last meeting was a workshop plus preparing for the Swindon show.Due to the weather only Tony O brought anything to work on.
February’s meeting was used for a dummy run for the Swindon winter image show, members were invited to bring in trees for Clive H to pick the best combination for our club display.
February had 6 entrants for the Tree of the Month.

We now look on the Swindon show as the opener for the new bonsai year a chance to meet friends and dealers we have not seen over the winter.

Decembers Tree of the Month competition was to decorate a Bonsai in ‘The
Christmas Style’ in which the Hank Yarde Trophy is awarded.

The December meeting has now become a social with the TOTM being your best decorated? tree, you will see that over the past few years members are taking this serious now with some imaginative Christmas scenes.
